What ingredients are used in Texoma Liquid Feed?
Texoma Liquid Feed uses the most pure and readily available form of raw ingredients. We use BLACKSTRAP CANE MOLASSES, which consists of 48-50% total inverted sugars. This is our chief source of energy in a highly palatable form. A major topic of concern that is commonly misunderstood is UREA. Urea is a cheap source of protein used in feeds to increase microbial activity within the rumen, which aids in digestion. Although, when high levels of urea are consumed, urea toxicity can occur, due to the inability of the microorganisms based supplement we are able to tie the urea with other ingredients and thus prevent any separation or stratification within the supplement, thereby designating the supplement as a "slow release" protein source. The natural protein source used in the manufacture of our liquid supplements are CORN CONDENSED DESTILLER SOLUBLES (CCDS), a corn by-product containing 14% - 16% protein.
